As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Biomimetic. You will be responsible for delivering a great experience for new customers and ensuring that they have the information they need about our products. The Business Developer will be expected to develop and implement a strategic plan for business activity. Also, the Business Developer will be responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with key individuals and decision-makers at assigned clients.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and update the Biomimetic business model and business plan.
• Develop strategies and tactics to acquire new business.
• Establish business cases for Biomimetic products and services.
• Build and maintain primary contact between Biomimetic and assigned clients.
• Conduct research to qualify potential clients and build a database of leads.
• Collaborate with the team to build and present valuable Biomimetic solutions to clients.
• Conduct on-site client visits as needed.
• Communicate new products, service opportunities, special developments, and information to clients.
• Creates and submits timely and accurate reports related to business growth.
• Manage client billing, cost reporting, and revenue forecasting.
• Identify new market opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, potential, and market landscape evolution.
• Gather intelligence on similar products in the market.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or Finance
• MSc in Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience in a B2B or client-facing environment
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
• Experience with R&D funded EU project management and economotechnical support.
• Ability to build relationships and establish rapport easily.
• A team player with a strong motivation to drive results and motivate colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
